 In partnership with the United States Army, Genencor® developed the DEFENZ™ line of decontamination enzymes to quickly, safely, and effectively break down life-threatening chemical and biological warfare agents.
In the past, decontamination efforts relied on environmentally harsh, corrosive chemicals. Enzyme products offer the military and other first responders a safer alternative. DEFENZ™ enzyme products reduce human exposure to caustic chemicals, specifically target and break down harmful agents, and cause no environmental harm.
